what is energy and how does it work

Everything is energy, energy exits all around us and is a participant in every aspect of our lives. By understanding energy you will understand exactly how you can manipulate this force around you to create a new reality.

Whether you’re conscious of it or not, everything is vibrating at an energetic frequency, objects, nature, people. Everything has either an energy of its own (nature) or an energy that’s been absorbed through exposure, or even our perspective of something filtered through our own experiences (anything non living). For example your partner’s sweater that you wear to feel closer to them, it’s because that sweater retains energy from them and that feeling you associate it with, is the feeling of an energy. Whether we are conscious of it or not we are always picking up on energies and with that subconsciously create assumptions, conclusions, and beliefs accordingly. You know when you meet someone and you instantly pick up on their vibe, whether it’s striking confidence, or shy preservation.That is the interpretation of noticing someone’s energy.

Everything has an energy and everything has a vibration that will hold a return of interest as a result of it entering your energetic field (your physical reality). Ultimately this will create the energetic frequency you life will exist at, because energy attracts more like energy. Think of it almost as a snowball effect. For example alcohol, harmful drugs, parties, meaningless relationships, come to reflect a pattern, and ultimately a lifestyle. You create your reality by becoming aware and choosing what you feed into your energetic field. Just like they say you are what you eat, you are what you consume and you want to feed the brain with vibrations and experiences you want to see grow in your life. What you mentally consume can include movies, friends, environment, essentially everything you’re experiencing, you are consuming, and it shapes you. If you desire change the first step is to become conscious of your brain’s food, and only consume what you want to embody. Slowly as you practice this awareness your physical reality will reflect your inner one. This is the same concept that makes strong advocates for daily affirmations, when you repetitively expose your brain to something it eventually becomes your default reality.

Understanding Karma

Let me briefly explain this perspective on karma to help grasp how to live with intention.

Karma in simple term’s, what goes around comes around. Karma commonly crosses most people’s minds, when they are hurt by someone. Karma becomes a sense of hope for justice, that the universe will make someone pay for what they did. It’s almost a surrender, last resort if you will when a matter of obtaining peace feels out of your hands. However when we bring an understanding and awareness to karma you will begin to see that we experience karma everyday as a result of every decision

Karma is the energy you put out and reflects a direct response to what you’ve put out. For example you drink a coffee, as a direct response you feel more awake, or you’re rude to your waiter, as a response you receive poor service. This is also called a return of interest. When you’re conscious of the decisions you make you can live a more intentional life, by mapping out, what will this do for my soul? Does this support the direction of development I wish to experience? Or not? Everything you do will always have a butterfly effect on your life.

A lot of people move through life leaving everything up to fate, and never learning that you can build your reality from point zero by simply bringing awareness to the energy in your environment. Have you ever heard someone say that you become your environment? Living intentionally allows you to filter exactly what energy you want and what you don’t want, which will ultimately create a tailored reality.

Understanding Your Energy

I know what you’re thinking, all of this seems nice but easier said than done! I’ll be the first to tell you that change is in fact a lot easier said than done! Which is why dreams for a lot of people remain just that. Purging a life that no longer serves you, creates risk to your comfort zone. Nothing new will be comfortable until you create a new comfort zone by stretching yourself. This can be a long journey, sometimes it’s really hard to let go, but have patience with yourself, you are exactly where you’re meant to be and to learn you must fail. Change is bound to be a process that takes more time than you may deem acceptable, but it’s important to hold space for yourself. If it were easy, what would you learn? What would the point be? It’s the hard things that redefine you, and it’s you who decides how.

People will see you the way you see yourself, you might have heard this concept once before, or your whole life perhaps. Maybe you’ve never heard of this and in that case allow me to introduce her.

People will see you the way you see yourself. And that is because the way you see yourself reflects directly into how you carry yourself and show up in the world, which people will automatically perceive and use to form an identity of you in their minds. It will also set the bar of how much you deem yourself worthy, of receiving, of being treated, how you treat yourself is the standard of which others will comply with, because they can sense whether or not you would put up with their behaviors. This also naturally filters out people who are not worthy of you because your energy will repel their interest when their energy does not match yours.  If you don’t know your worth as a result you will  play yourself small when you’re truly deserving of anything you desire.

If you’re unconscious about the way you show up in the world, you can bring awareness to it by really looking deep within your insecurities and behaviours. You can practice reflection by asking yourself simple questions about it. What are my insecurities and how are they triggered? Where did these insecurity root from?  Do they affect how you physically carry yourself? Do they affect how you approach interaction? Do they affect how you treat yourself?  Because I guarantee they do.

Being a full authentic version of yourself is the most powerful energetic thing you can do. Uncovering your authentic self is to learn who you are without influence, just the raw version of you, connected to what YOU want, before the influence of your surroundings impacted yourdesires. This can take a long time to fully uncover, accept, embody, and separate true desire from ego driven desire (rooted from what people around you have, or told you, you should have or want). But it’s the one thing that you need to focus on to move into an energy that not only looks better, but feels better.  As you begin to move into a place of authentic energy It changes the things you identify with, and this when you begin to also physically change on the outside. The things you identify with are often things that are vibrating at the same frequency as you, therefore attracting you, because energy attracts like energy.

Understanding energy

The First step is to accept yourself as the version of you in this moment. This is a step in the journey, the person you are is the person you’re meant to be right now. You can’t get to point b without point a. From right here, How can you move closer to a more authentic you? What does that version of you in your dream life do? How do they live? What do they think? What are they passionate about? How can you redirect your life in that direction? What would that version of yourself focus their energy on as this version of yourself? Your inner world will always be your reality, slowly but surely, your reality will change as you do, as your energy does.

your energy is the root of the change, change your energy, and watch how you grow, and how your change is reflected into your physical appearance, physical reality, your own perception, and how you are perceived.
